Four parts, one company: Astra, a hosted carrier platform; Heimdall, call-security scoring; the Lunar network they are built to run on; and Lunar Carrier Services, numbering data for carriers. Each has its own page, and each page says plainly what is live, what is in development and what is planned.

Our products and services

  • Carrier platform

    Astra

    A hosted, multi-tenant Class 4 carrier platform for carriers and resellers, under their own brand. It is designed to be fully managed: Lunar runs the servers, and tenants never run hardware.

    Status: In development

  • Call security

    Heimdall

    Robocall, fraud and compliance scoring for voice calls. A sister product with its own brand, and Astra is its first integration.

    Status: Built and tested. Not yet in production service.

  • Network and infrastructure

    Lunar Network

    How Lunar builds and secures the servers and network behind its products, and why it is establishing its own ASN and IP space.

  • Numbering data

    Lunar Carrier Services

    Number portability (LRN) lookups and numbering reference data for carriers, planned as an API and as feeds.

One company, one order of priorities.

Lunar Systems is the parent company of Astra, Heimdall and Lunar Carrier Services, and builds the network they are built to run on. Everything is decided in the same order: security first, then getting the money right, then features.

Built for
US voice first. STIR/SHAKEN, the Robocall Mitigation Database, E911 and CPNI shape the design from the start.
Brands
Astra and Heimdall keep their own names and marks. Lunar Systems is the company behind both.
Status
Stated on every page. Where a part is designed but not yet running, the page says so.

Status: Planned

Wholesale VoIP.

Lunar also plans to sell wholesale termination directly, run as one tenant on Astra. It is not available yet. If you would buy it, tell us about your traffic and we will keep you posted.
